Bim / Information Manager

A. Common Data Environment and information control • Set up, administer and own the project Common Data Environment (cloud-hosted): access and permissions, folder and workflow structure, the information states (Work-in-Progress, Shared, Published, Archived) and status/revision codes. • Ensure all project information is created, exchanged and issued through the CDE, with a complete and auditable version history — nothing exchanged by email or personal storage. • Manage CDE performance and reliable access for consultants based in China and the team in Mongolia. B. Model coordination and clash management • Federate the architectural, structural and MEP models into one coordinated project model. • Run clash detection and lead clash-resolution cycles routinely through detailed design and before every stage gate, logging and tracking issues to closure. • Chair or coordinate regular multi-disciplinary BIM coordination meetings. • Enforce a single shared coordinate system, origin, datum and units so the discipline models federate reliably. C. Standards, EIR compliance and delivery planning • Enforce the project EIR: naming convention, classification, and the agreed Level of Information Need (LOD) by stage and discipline. • Review each consultant’s BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and Task Information Delivery Plan (TIDP) for compliance, and drive corrections. • Maintain the Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) and align information delivery with project stages and payment milestones. D. Quality assurance, acceptance and asset information • Verify and validate information at each exchange; run model audits (naming, classification, origin, model hygiene, information need). • Operate the acceptance / non-conformance process — information that fails is returned and does not satisfy the milestone until corrected. • Drive the asset-information (AIR) agenda toward a usable asset information model for operation and FM, including the digital handover acceptance test at completion. E. Security-minded management and cross-border coordination • Apply a security-minded approach to information appropriate to the site’s proximity to a diplomatic mission: need-to-know access and controlled distribution of sensitive information. • Act as the central information-management point between the China-based consultants and the Mongolia-based design institute and Khurd team, bridging English- and Mongolian-language working. F. Reporting and capability building • Report BIM and information status, risks and non-conformances to project management. • Build and mentor internal BIM capability over the life of the project.

• Degree in architecture, civil / structural or MEP engineering, construction management or a related field — or equivalent practical experience. • Around 5+ years in BIM coordination / management on building projects, ideally mixed-use, high-rise or large commercial. • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks; hands-on experience administering a cloud Common Data Environment (e.g. Autodesk Construction Cloud / Autodesk Docs, or equivalent). • Working knowledge of ISO 19650 information-management principles (EIR, BEP, MIDP, CDE, level of information need, naming and classification). • Demonstrated experience running multi-disciplinary clash detection and coordination. • Professional working English (for the international consultants) and Mongolian (for the local team and design institute).
