Financial Inventory Controller

📌 This is a temporary position to cover maternity leave. • Financial Performance & Profitability Analysis • Prepare, monitor, and analyze revenue, expenses, gross profit, and profitability by business unit, product, brand, customer, and sales channel to support management decision-making. • Financial Reporting & Business Insights • Prepare regular financial performance reports, including budget vs. actual, forecast vs. actual, and variance analysis, and provide accurate, timely, and actionable insights to management. • Receivables & Credit Control • Monitor customer receivables, credit limits, credit sales, overdue accounts, and collection status, working closely with Sales and Finance teams to minimize credit risk and maintain healthy receivable levels. • Inventory & Supply Planning • Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, stock coverage, reorder levels, and slow-moving/obsolete inventory to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing overstock and stock-out risks. • Purchasing & Import Planning • Prepare and submit international purchase orders based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, business plans, and supplier lead times; coordinate order confirmation, shipment schedules, and related import activities with relevant teams and suppliers. • Commercial & Financial Control • Monitor product costs, landed costs, margins, pricing, discounts, and commercial expenses; identify significant variances and risks and recommend corrective actions to improve profitability.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. • Relevant Experience: Experience in financial analysis, controlling, inventory management, purchasing, supply planning, or a similar role; experience in distribution/FMCG is an advantage. • Analytical Skills: Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to analyze financial, sales, and inventory data and identify trends, variances, and business risks. • Reporting & Business Acumen: Ability to prepare clear management reports, interpret financial and commercial data, and provide practical recommendations to support business decisions. • Technical & Language Skills: Good command of Excel and financial/ERP systems, with intermediate or above-intermediate English communication skills. • Personal Competencies: Strong attention to detail, ownership, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across Finance, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and other functions.
