Production Manager

The Production Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the day-to-day production activities of the Zuuvch-Ovoo Pilot Plant, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations in compliance with company procedures, quality standards, environmental requirements, and regulations. The role also supports production performance, continuous improvement, and development of the pilot operations team. Key Responsibilities • Lead and coordinate the day-to-day production and pilot test activities. • Provide clear work objectives, guidance, coaching, and feedback to the production team. • Supervise production activities across all operating and under-construction cells. • Ensure production activities are carried out in accordance with approved operating procedures, safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements. • Ensure radiation protection and environmental safety requirements are properly implemented and followed by employees and contractors. • Take appropriate immediate action, including stopping operations when necessary, to manage significant safety or environmental risks. • Monitor and analyze daily production data and pilot parameters, identify operational issues, and implement corrective and improvement actions. • Ensure pilot and laboratory equipment is operated safely and properly, and coordinate with Maintenance to support equipment availability. • Support preventive maintenance planning for pilot equipment and generators. • Develop and review production and pilot activity reports, including reports required by management and relevant authorities. • Establish and monitor KPIs and support continuous improvement of operational processes and performance. • Contribute to the development and improvement of operating policies, procedures, work methods, and processes. • Identify and propose improvements, new processes, and innovative solutions to improve pilot operations. • Work closely with the Chief Engineer, Operations team, Maintenance, HSE, and other departments to ensure effective coordination of pilot activities. • Liaise with experts and specialists and request technical support when required. • Provide technical assistance and guidance to team members and support their professional development. • Contribute to planning the completion of pilot test activities and post-pilot activities. • Ensure compliance with Mongolian laws, regulations, and company internal policies and procedures

• Higher education (Bachelor’s degree or higher) in Mining Engineering, Geology, Metallurgy, Hydrometallurgy, Engineering, or related technical disciplines • Minimum 7 years of experience in the mining, hydrometallurgical, or processing industry. • Minimum 5 years of experience in production management positions. • Practical experience in managing continuous process operations is mandatory. • Experience in managing production teams, cross-functional coordination, and working under industrial safety (HSE) requirements is mandatory. • Experience in participation in modernization projects, production expansion, or implementation of new technologies is an advantage • Knowledge of production management principles, production planning, and KPI control. • Understanding of material balances, flows of raw materials, reagents, and products. • Knowledge of industrial, environmental, and radiation safety requirements (HSE & Radiation Protection) • Skills in managing multidisciplinary production units (operations, laboratory, maintenance, data). • Understanding of database principles and industrial digital platforms is an advantage. • Experience in team supervision, coaching, and employee development. • Ability to work effectively with multicultural and cross-functional teams. • Proficient in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
