Retail Operations Manager (Spar Project)

Key Responsibilities • Sales & Financial Performance: Forecast and achieve sales budgets while driving key retail metrics, including Customer Count, Basket Spend. • Store Operations & Standards: Conduct daily store visits to ensure maximum operational efficiency, 100% Planogram compliance, correct pricing, and accurate checklist management. Shrinkage & Wastage Control: Analyze daily wastage, stock transfers, and inventory results to implement proactive controls for high-value SKU shrinkage and keep losses below company norms. • Audits & Quality Standards: Audit store hygiene, health and safety, and operational processes to ensure a top-tier shopping experience and eliminate customer dissatisfaction. • Compliance & Risk Management: Oversee legal, administrative, and commercial compliance to protect company assets and avoid regulatory penalties. • Store Manager Leadership: Review weekly store performance, ensuring store managers meet their operational goals and commercial targets.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field. • 5+ years of proven experience in Retail Operations, Store Management, or a multi-unit supervisory role. • Strong knowledge of retail KPIs (Shrinkage, Basket Size, Customer Count, Planograms). • Solid understanding of inventory control processes (RTV, Stock Transfer, Auditing). • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills. • High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
